Theatre in the Grove is excited to announce our auditions for our all-day summer performance camp happening in July 2026. This is an amazing opportunity for your youth to learn about all aspects of acting and live theatre.
Led by our staff and other local drama and vocal teachers, youth learn and have fun while rehearsing for a full production of Annie Get Your Gun (Stone Revival). The camp culminates with 2 weekends (8 performances) of shows open to the public with a LIVE ORCHESTRA!
Performance Camp
- Tuition: $400 (Full and Partial Scholarships Available)
- Camp dates: July 20th-31st 9am-4pm
- Ages: 6th grade – 12th grade (recent graduates)
- Performances: July 31st, Aug 1, 2, 7,8,9
- Instructors: Zoe Centers (Hillsboro High School Drama teacher), Jeananne Kelsey (local choreographer, actor and director in the Portland metro area), Ben Noyes (Hillsboro High School Choir Teacher), Ali Luey (NATS certified voice teacher and actor)
About the Show: Irving Berlin’s Annie Get Your Gun
Have a hoot and a holler on stage in Annie Get Your Gun. Over the course of just 2 weeks, students will rehearse all the songs, learn their lines and choreography for the musical Annie Get Your Gun. This year’s ages will be students entering 6th grade through students who just graduated 12th grade.. Students wishing to participate need to be available for all days of the camp and all performances, unless prior arrangements are made for missing camp days. Students will audition for attendance into the camp April 25th or 26th by appointment.
Auditioning for the Camp
This camp requires for students to audition before they are admitted to the camp. Auditions will be held April 25th and 26th.

Students will sign up for a 5 min audition slot and should prepare 1 min of a golden age musical theatre song, with a backing/karaoke track (providing their own wireless speaker for the audition).
After students are admitted to the camp, they will need to do a second set of auditions for specific roles in June. After casting, they will receive their materials so they have time to begin learning their part. Once students audition for their role no refunds for the camp will be given.
