The story begins when Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, falls in love with a sweet, respectable young man from a perfectly normal family. Wednesday invites her boyfriend and his family to dinner at the Addams home. What follows is a wildly entertaining evening of misunderstandings, family chaos, surprising confessions, and unforgettable moments that prove every family is strange in its own way.
Beneath the gothic humor is a story about love, growing up, family expectations, and learning to accept one another, quirks and all. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Gomez, Morticia, Uncle Fester, and Thing, or meeting the Addams Family for the first time, this musical delivers laughs and heart.
This special production is presented by the talented young performers of Theatre in the Grove’s CAST Performance Camp. After 2 weeks of intensive rehearsal, creativity, and collaboration, these students bring incredible energy and talent to the stage in a show the whole family can enjoy.
