Bel Stenger
Bel is going into her sophomore year at Catlin Gabel, and she’s thrilled to be doing another show at Theatre in the Grove! She was most recently seen in Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Musical at Lovegood Performing Arts Company, and other favorite shows include Seussical Jr, Mamma Mia! and A Year With Frog and Toad. When she’s not doing theatre, Bel enjoys listening to music, reading, and spending time with her friends.
Brynlee Factora
Brynlee is an incoming 5th grader at Forest Hills Lutheran Christian School with a passion for singing and dancing. This winter marked a debut role as Kate the orphan in Annie at Theatre in the Grove. For the Wizard of Oz, Brynlee will appear as a Munchkin and Nikko, the Captain of the Wicked Witch’s flying monkey army. Friends and family have been treated to plenty of animated monkey faces during preparation for the role. In her spare time, Brynlee enjoys creating mazes for her new pet hamster, as well as playing soccer, basketball, and track.
Colin O’Rear
Colin is excited to be part of The Wizard of Oz at TITG’s summer camp! He’s had a great time learning the show over two weeks and can’t wait to perform. Colin previously played Charlie Brown in his 2nd grade class play and is excited to expand his theatre experience. He’s loved making new friends and learning more about theatre at TITG. When he’s not acting, Colin enjoys playing video games and soccer. He can’t wait to share the show with family and friends.
Dannika Parsons
This is Dannika’s first time working with Theater In The Grove but she has been in numerous productions elsewhere. She was most recently in “Anne of Green Gables” at HART theater and in “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” at Glencoe high school. Outside of theater she loves singing, softball, and reading. She is really grateful to be a part of this cast camp with all the amazing cast, crew, and directors.
Emerson Mott
I will be a fourth grader at The Early Learning Community this fall. My background in performing is mostly from my five years at Regeneration Dance Studio, where I have studied multiple styles of dance. I have also participated in several school skits and plays. In kindergarten I was the lead in The Gingerbread Cowboy. I’ve had the acting bug ever since.
Esme Naone
This is Esme’s first performance with TITG, and she has enjoyed getting to know her castmates and TITG teachers. As a 4th grader at Swallowtail Waldorf School, Esme has performed in yearly class plays and in multiple music assemblies. She enjoys playing the violin, biking, baking, crochet, playing soccer and basketball, and hanging out with her 3 big sisters. Esme would like to thank all of her family and friends who came to see her in the show!
Jack Heath
This is my first play that I’ve ever been in. Before this I took an Improv 101 class which got me interested in acting. I am also into Soccer, Lacrosse, and singing. My favorite sport is Pickleball. I play it with my dad almost every day when the weather is nice. Hey Emma, nice job on the set!
