Sofia Molina

SOFIA MOLINA celebrated 50 years of live theater presence in October 2024.
She began singing zarzuela at 4. Her first paid role was in the Mexican original production of ANITA LA HUERFANITA (Annie) in 1979.

She has a B.A. in Dramatic Literature and Theater from UNAM. She is a linguist, and has performed acting and singing in English, Spanish, Russian, French, and Armenian. She won an Alma Award in L.A., a Drammy for Best Ensemble, and a Drammy nomination for Best Supporting Actress in Portland. She is thrilled to be doing her TITG debut in MOJADA, performing her favorite part in this play… She’d like to dedicate her performance to all the resilient people that risk it all in search of a better life.
